Welcome, Joseph — Editor of bcd-W Magazine & IWBFD Books, and Lead of Talent Care

IWBFD Studios is pleased to announce that Joseph (Gyeong-seop Seong) has joined us. From today, Joseph takes charge of two things:

• bcd-W Magazine & IWBFD Books — bcd-W Magazine, IWBFD Studios' sister publication, and IWBFD Books are one editorial home: the magazine carries the stories of people and cities as they happen, and IWBFD Books gives the longer ones the time and form they deserve. As Editor of both, Joseph will decide which stories we tell, and how they travel — across cities, and from page to book.

• Talent Care — Joseph will look after IWBFD's talent: the people whose stories we tell, and who tell ours.

Why Joseph

Joseph spent more than a decade in the classroom. Teaching trained him in what an agency needs most: genuine care for people, the discipline of running a small organization every day, and the habit of designing his own next step. He writes almost everything down by hand — names, conversations, and the arrows between them. That, in the end, is what both an editor and a talent manager do.

At IWBFD, we grow people first. Joseph is the one who will make sure each of them is seen, heard, and written down.

He wrote down almost everything. Now he helps us decide what is worth writing down.
