SXSW 2027 Community Voting Is Now Open
IWBFD Studios' pilot project Forest 101 has been submitted to the SXSW 2027 PanelPicker, and community voting is now open. Public votes help decide which sessions reach the SXSW stage in Austin — and every single vote counts.
From Idol to Entrepreneur
Forest 101 grows retired K-pop idols into global entrepreneurs. It transforms the companies they build into a city's next industry. The premise is simple: the end of a stage can be the beginning of a greater journey. “You didn't fail. You retired.”
The Panel
The proposed SXSW session features Paul J. J. Kang (Project Creator, IWBFD Studios) and Thomas Hongtack Kim as panelist candidates. They will share how a career-transition model built on the K-pop training system can become the world's first entertainment career transition platform.
