IWBFD Talent Paul J. J. Kang Selected and Invited to Seoul Discovery 2026
IWBFD Studios is pleased to share that a project led by Paul J. J. Kang, the studio's talent, has been selected and invited (non-competition) to Seoul Discovery 2026, where his work stands among the program's five Featured Projects. His project is Sim Eternal City.
We grow people, not businesses, first. So the news we want to mark here is not a project being noticed—it is a person being invited. The project is the vehicle; the entrepreneur who carries it across borders and onto new stages is the point.
Presented under the theme Artist + AI + Culture, Seoul Discovery 2026 gathers 17 projects across four categories under a single invitation: create the next culture. Within that showcase, five projects are featured as works that open a real next stage, evaluated on their own milestones rather than against one another. Paul J. J. Kang's work is one of them.
This is exactly the kind of moment IWBFD Studios sets out to create. We grow people who have finished one round—people starting over, in unfamiliar cities and unfamiliar rooms—into borderless entrepreneurs, and we stand beside them as their work reaches new markets, festivals and stages. To see a project carried by our own talent selected and invited into a program like this is the first, tangible proof of that work.
Sim Eternal City is a dream of a new city of abundant coexistence, built on the belief that endings are the ground on which new beginnings are laid. New For The Olds, Life For Death. Being welcomed into Seoul Discovery 2026 places that dream, and the person behind it, beside other creators working at the meeting point of artistry, AI and culture.
