IWBFD Storytelling Studios today announced a redesign of bcd-W, its story magazine — introducing a new publishing rhythm built around the cities of today and the cities of tomorrow.
What bcd-W Stands For
bcd-W stands for a simple, expansive idea: business, city, dots — connect Worldwide. As the story magazine of IWBFD Studios, bcd-W traces the lines between people, places, and ideas across the globe, telling the stories of cities as living ecosystems shaped by culture, technology, people, and future possibilities.
A New Rhythm
Until now, bcd-W Current Today published daily as a newsletter. Going forward, Current Today moves to where it belongs — an always-on web platform, updated continuously as the stories of today's cities unfold.
In place of the daily newsletter, bcd-W now publishes two weekly editions, each delivered through both the magazine newsletter and a LinkedIn newsletter:
Wednesday — The City As It Is
The present-day city and the stories inside it: local innovation, communities, and the people making urban life work around the world.
Weekend — The City As It Could Be
The future city and the stories inside it: the frameworks, experiments, and imagined places we will need next — anchored by the Sim Eternal City framework and IWBFD's future-city storytelling.
Same DNA, Cleaner Cadence
The editorial spirit remains unchanged — Aeon meets Monocle meets The Atlantic — now delivered with a clearer cadence. Readers can follow the daily flow of city stories on the web, while the two weekly editions bring the signal twice a week, in the inbox and on LinkedIn.
bcd-W Magazine is published by IWBFD Studios and managed under PaulnJoseph LLC.
